The following Cold Cast
Bronze sculptures, are from the well known Veronese Collection,
with the detail and care being taken, in the production of these fine pieces,
being a credit to the artisans,
who are charged with their creation. Cold Cast Bronze sculptures are produced
with the first step being,
the creation of the image in clay or wax. A flexible mould is then made, which
captures every detail
of the work. A wax cast is now made in the mould, then finished and covered
with a shell, from dipping
in a ceramic slurry. A combination of bronze powder, mixed with a small amount
of catalysed resin,
is now poured into the mould. The resulting sculpture is essentially bronze,
which has been cast using
a "cold" or room temperature chemical bonding process. The finished
work has the weight
and appearance of solid bronze but at a much lower cost.
As an enthusiast of the
American West, I am sure you will appreciate the workmanship in
all these sculptures, where they be Cowboy or Indian. As new additions are
released,
we will of course add them to the range.
